Whilst moving through the Region, our Deputy Chair Dr Tony Zalewski was invited to present at the ASIS Malaysia Security Conference. His presentation was well-received in the area of OVA (Occupational Violence and Aggression)

Over sixty ASIS International members, security professionals and members of Victoria Police attended ASIS Victoria’s Understanding Terrorism and Violent Extremism breakfast event this week.

The GSX is gearing up with conference presenters about to be announced. It is estimated that this world standard event will have around 20,000+ attendees, 550+ exhibitors and 300+ education session.

Safe Work Australia has developed guidance materials for "officers" who are duty holders under OHS legislation. Although Victoria is currently not a signatory to the national approach there is good guidance to ensure OHS obligations are met.

This year, the ASIS Victoria Australia Chapter will host the ASIS Australia Conference being held in Melbourne on Thursday 17 October 2019.
