New CPP Exam to Begin February 2016
To ensure that the CPP exam content remains current and accurately reflects job-related activities, competencies, and professional standards, ASIS conducts a job analysis (or role delineation) approximately every five years. This process has led to the updating of the domains, tasks, and knowledge areas comprising the CPP test content outline. These changes will not take effect until February 2016.

New Research - Liquor Outlet Density and Violence
New research by the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research has found that domestic assaults increase markedly when the number of hotels in a Local Government Area (LGA) exceeds two per 1,000 residents. The study also found that a sharp increase in domestic violence and packaged liquor licences but the relationship was weaker when the threshold was lower (0.75 per 1,000 residents).
