Terrorism and Risk Event Resounding Success

The Chapter’s first event for 2022 was a great success thanks to the excellent work of the Chapter Committee. With around 70 registrations, the Event’s Coordinator ensured the activity proceeded smoothly.

Commencing at 7:35 am, three related sessions were conducted on International
Women’s Day. The first commenced with Women in Security and involved a panel of three women Chaired by Committee Member Sarina Persall. This was followed with presentations by Victoria Police Counter-Terrorism Command and concluded with a presentation by bomb expert Don Williams and newly launched product “ExploSim”

Feedback about the Event was most positive and the Chapter looks forward to its next event, to be announced shortly.


The Chapter thanks its presenters and encourages members to apply for registration with VP SHIELD. The VicPol initiative partners the police Counter Terrorism Command with private security leaders for information sharing and improved public safety.
