Survey - Security Officers as Emergency Workers

Supported by VSIAC (Victorian Security Industry Advisory Council) to the Minister, we recommend employers, security leaders and others with an interest in safety of security officers download and complete the attached survey.

This survey is important in providing a snapshot of incidents involving OVA (occupational violence and aggression) and security officers.  Data will inform an application that security officers be included within legislation aimed at deterring violence against designated public safety staff.

The survey contains explanatory information and contacts for further inquiries.
