About the Presenter:   Scott Ainslie

Scott has served in various roles in a career distinguished by the breadth of his exposure to the security threat landscape.

His approach reflects extensive exposure to the physical, personnel and logistical security domains, and his results are underscored by his use of intelligence-based threat and risk management approaches to address cybersecurity and associated critical infrastructure vulnerabilities.  His multi-domain knowledge has significantly contributed to the introduction of risk-based approaches addressing critical areas not discussed previously in some business sectors.

Scott’s experience reflects engagement with IT and OT associated with the critical infrastructure landscape in a practical manner and through his research and engagement across the wider information sharing community.  He has a degree in Criminology from CSU and a Masters in Cybersecurity, Strategy and Diplomacy from UNSW. His positive demeanour and dynamic attitude contribute to co-operation and partnership with stakeholders to achieve a successful outcome.

Scott is a member of multiple security, risk, intelligence and cybersecurity related organisations.  This active membership provides an ideal platform for empowering knowledge outreach from a global cybersecurity community.
