Risk Article: Emerging Themes in Litigation
Our Chair, Dr Tony Zalewski wrote an important risk article that was recently published in Security Solutions. Entitled "Emerging Themes in Litigation: Working Smarter to Minimise Risk" Tony provides first hand advice on the importance of a strategic risk assessment as the foundation for security system development.
The article is attached and should be contemplated by professionals in developing or providing advice about operational security systems.
Throughout the article, Tony notes there is a plethora of information freely available to assist in risk minimisation and yet, often those resonsible for security systems appear not to take notice of such guidance.
In the next issue of Security Solutions Tony provides some practical examples of where deficient systems resulted in personal injuries and ultimately impacted upon the bottom line and reputations of substantial operations.
