Retail Security – An Ongoing Concern

The Australian Retail Association estimates retail theft costs the Australian business community more than $4 billion annually. In response many businesses have introduced strategies associated with technology and enhance competence of floor staff.

Later this year, the Chapter will conduct a breakfast event addressing this ongoing concern.  Speakers will provide key information relative to:

• the importance of a risk assessment;
• use of covert and overt staff;
• advances in technology including electronic tagging and CCTV;
• loading dock and delivery controls; and
• employee awareness
