Member Benefits - Professional Standards

Membership of ASIS International brings many rewards and provides support for security leaders to ensure they align with relevant standards and guidelines. Currently there are four standards under development.

Community resilience: Guidance on capacity building and public-private partnerships - This standard provides guidance to address the interfaces between individual, organisational and community resilience to enhance public-private partnerships in resilience planning.

Managing the investigative process - This standard provides guidance for internal and external investigators to maintain the quality and consistency of investigations and investigative reports.

Resilience in the supply chain - This standard provides a framework for evaluating the internal and external context of the organisation with regard to it supply chain.

Risk assessment - This standard provides a basis for generic processes for risk assessment enabling objective analysis of the various controls to be put in place in protecting organisational assets.
