Melbourne security upgrades

A number of measures have been undertaken to increase safety and security around the Melbourne CBD.

The works include:

• Replacement of temporary blocks and barriers with permanent fixtures
• Enhanced public address system around the CBD to provide warnings and safety information
• 30 new CCTV cameras to the existing camera network
