ASIS International Anaheim Commences

A large number of attendees were at the Opening Ceremony for the 61st Annual ASIS International Seminar and Events in Anaheim, California USA. Five members of the Victoria Australia Chapter were also present.

Many attendees registered on the Sunday evening and were then able to network with like-minded security leaders.  Issues relevant to global recognition of security qualifications was a hot topic with various views on pre-licensing training and competence of security leaders.

It is well recognised that security strategies and risks are constantly changing hence the need for ongoing review and analysis of various approaches.

The event theme is "Evolve to Advance" in an environment where threats have become more sophisticated and threat actors more organised, focused and determined.
