Nab Risk and Training Breakfast - Another Success!

Another successful breakfast was conducted by the Chapter with presentations by two industry leaders. With 57 registrations, the Victoria Australia Chapter continues to provide relevant and well-received professional development sessions.

The Victoria Australia Chapter was well supported by members and guests at its Enterprise Risk and Training breakfast held on Tuesday 16 September 2014. The event was sponsored by Nab and conducted at its very impressive facility in Docklands. The breakfast provided a great opportunity to hear from an experienced risk professional Mr David Bannatyne who has worked in both the public and private sectors.

David is currently the GM Small Business at Nab and has previously worked with Control Risks Group. In total he has worked in risk for over 24 years and his wealth of experience was most evident as he discussed various approaches to risk across industry sectors.

Andrew Shea provided an update on training and some of the recent changes to aviation and technical security including cabling registration. Andrew, the CEO of Complex Institute of Education also outlined workings across the training sector to further improve quality in training.

The Chapter is most appreciative to Nab, our speakers and of course, the many members and guests who attended the breakfast.

Our next event is the important EGM in October. Please see our Events page for remaining Chapter activity in 2014.
