Chapter Member Wins OSPA Award

The Victoria Australia Chapter is pleased to advise our Chapter Member and Secretary Ms Rachell DeLuca was awarded 2017 Outstanding Security Consultant at the recent OSPA's Award Presentations. This is our first Chapter award at the OSPAs.

Presented by Professor Martin Gill (UK), Rachell was awarded the Outstanding Security Consultant OSPA for 2017 for her work on the PPIC3 Lahore Safe City project in Pakistan.

The project delivered over 8,000 CCTV cameras installed throughout the City of Lahore which has a population of over 10 million. The entire CCTV network infrastructure was designed and installed as a greenfield project including the fibre network, mobile communications and a state-of-the-art command and control centre to receive and action signals from the system.

Following Rachell’s nearly 20 years of security industry experience, the landmark PPIC3 Lahore Safe City project incorporated aspects from her previous experiences in alarm monitoring and control rooms, from understanding complex technical systems and integrations, to overseeing the project management and delivery of the system.

The Chapter and its membership proudly recognises this outstanding work as part of Rachell's commitment to security.  A big congratulations from us all.
