ASIS NSW Event - Courage and Resilience, A story of survival and a thirst for life

A breakfast not to be missed is being provided by the ASIS NSW Chapter on Tues 28 October 2014 presented by Samantha & Laurence Barlow. Both former NSW Police Officers who have given a great deal to our community and nearly cost Samantha her life.

On the morning of 13 May 2009 Samantha nearly lost her life on her way to work to Kings Cross Police Station. A cowardly attack by a drug addict left her fighting for life just so he could get a few dollars for his next fix. Samantha was attacked from behind and bashed multiple times in the head with a brick.

Hear from both Samantha and Laurence of the heart wrenching story of survival and their courageous account of the journey to recovery. This is a session not to be missed.

Each attendee to this event will receive a copy of "Left For Dead" Samantha &  Laurence's book. This is a great read.

The NSW Chapter will also be making a donation to Police Legacy on the morning in recognition of the great work that police do for our community. As well an opportunity for members on the morning to also make a personal contribution if you would like.
