Statistics Online Through CSA

Did you know crime statistics are available online through Crime Statistics Agency (Victoria). From local crime rates to 10 year trend analysis, there is ample data to assist security professionals analyse environmental risk.

Did you know:

• Crime rates are calculated per 100,000 population.  Where other jurisdictions use the same formula this allows comparisons to be made with like societies and their crime rates.
• The number of criminal incidents recorded by police in the year to 31 March 2018 was 380,150. This is down 8.8% from 416,925 incidents recorded in the same period last year.
