CPTED Professional Development Workshop

A rare opportunity to work with two global leaders in CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). The presenters are Dr Garner Clancey (University of Sydney) and Dr Leanne Monchuk (University of Huddersfield UK).

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is based on a theory that through proper design and effective use of built environments, the incidence of crime and the fear of crime can diminish, and the general quality of life can improve for a community. This course proves the principles for planning and designing safe communities and improving safety measures of existing structures.

This one day workshop covers the general principles of CPTED, including crime prevention and security strategies, a thorough analysis of proper design and development in an effort to incorporate CPTED principles into security operations and training.

This workshop is particularly relevant for security leaders, consultants and advisors and those with an interest in risk minimisation techniques.

Please book early as places are limited.
